Workshops and talks

We are out and about around Shropshire sharing our enthusiasm about what we do whether it is willow weaving workshops, giving talks and demonstrations or running private workshops for groups of friends.  During the summer months we share our love for herbs – how to grow them, use them and their benefits for wildlife and us!

We regularly update our programme  adding in new dates so if you would like to  join our email list to receive occasional updates about events please email    please be reassured we will not share you details with any third parties and will only email you about More than Willow events and news. You can opt out at any time

Most of the of willow used in our workshops is grown by us here in Shropshire. Each spring we plant more willow so in a few years we hope to be self sufficient.  Occasionally we run out of the right size or type of willow and then we  buy it in from reputable growers.

Workshops sizes are kept small to make sure everyone gets the support and attention they need in order to complete their project. Our aim is that everyone enjoys the act of making and goes home with a handmade item that they are proud of.

‘Thank you once more for a fantastically therapeutic couple of hours weaving willow. Truly inspiring, relaxing and sociable. Not only that but wonderful to come home with a unique and completely natural Christmas wreath! Everyone with a busy life should try it.’
