My autumn and winter workshop programme is coming soon …

I have had a break from running workshops this summer which was just as well as the hot weather makes it very difficult to keep willow in good condition for weaving.

Over recent days I have had fun collecting all sorts of different materials – flag iris, sweetcorn and crocosmia which are now hanging to dry in my workshop. All may appear at a workshop in the future.

I was inspired by the fantastic Weave Only A Trace exhibition in Shrewsbury in August and at the beginning of September I shall be visiting the 6th World Willow Festival in Poland. So I am hoping to return full of creative ideas for the autumn.
